Research Project: The Design of a Reflectron for TOF-SIMS

From ECE 486 to ECE 487, I went through the design courses to create and complete the research project for a Reflectron for TOF-SIMS. This project had two phases: Research the Design and Assembly the Design. The following final report describes the in-depth data researched, collected, and tested through Fall 2023 to  Spring 2024. My role in this project was to assemble the design, stay in contact with the Graduate students, and visit the Machine Shop to complete any components needed. I have provided a few images that show off the role I had on the team. It also shows the ESPEX presentation where my team won 2nd place in the best engineering design project for the ECE department.
